About me!
I'm a Year 2 student in Temasek Polytechnic's Diploma in Communications and Media Management.
I joined the Guided Learning Module after being nominated by my Learning Facilitator, Mrs. Felicia Nah.
The gist of Guided Learning
Deepening Knowledge
Broadening Minds
A module that can be taken in place of Global Studies 2, Guided Learning introduces students to the concepts and process of self-directed learning in a chosen area of inquiry.
The process focusses on four stages: planning, performing, monitoring and reflecting.
Students get to plan their individual learning project, refine and execute the learning plan, as well as monitor and reflect on their learning progress and project.
My Learning Project
Here's what I had to do
For my Guided Learning Project, I was tasked to produce a podcast episode for CNA Insider's SG Story column. The criterion was an interview featuring a Singaporean with an interesting story to share.

The podcast would be split into 8 minutes and 10 minutes, respectively. It would air on CNA 938 LIVE and be featured as a podcast episode under MeListen.

The production process would require me to research and liaise with a suitable interviewee and learn how to operate the professional recording equipment provided by the school, such that the production value of the episode would be on-par with CNA's existing content.
